Protein Recipe: Pizza Crust
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup blanched almond flour
1/4 cup Sports Food protein powder (unflavored, optional)
4 TBS Psyllium husk powder
1 TBS Italian spices
1/2 tsp salt
2 TBS grated parmesan
2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup boiling water
butter or coconut oil (for brushing)
Optional: Marinara sauce.
Toppings:
Your choice!
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
Mix all of the dry ingredients together.
Add in the eggs and mix till well combined.
Pour in boiling water.
Take ball of dough and place it on a greased baking sheet.
Spread dough out into a 16 inch round.
Bake dough for 25 mins.
Take the crust out of the oven, brush a little oil on it and throw it back in on broil.
After a few minutes, take the crust out and throw your toppings on top. ( Sauce is optional).
But your pizza back in the oven for 5-10 minutes on broil.
